Irish Coffee
Popular across the world, the drink is traditionally served in a stemmed heatproof glass and consists of hot filter coffee, Irish whiskey and brown sugar topped with lightly whipped cream.
It was first created by Joe Sheridan from Castlederg who was attempting to warm a group of American travellers on a cold winter evening. Sheridan added whiskey to hot coffee and was asked if it was Brazilian coffee to which he responded: "It's an Irish Coffee".
