El Presidente

A combination of rum, vermouth and citrus. This drink was mentioned for the first time (that we know of) in a book called Manual del Cantinero published in Havana in 1915, but it might have been around a lot longer than that. It's been called a "Cubanized answer to the Manhattan".

Ingredients

• 40ml Rum

• 20ml dry Vermouth

• 15ml white Vermouth

• 10ml Orance Curaçao liqueur

• 5ml sweet red Vermouth

• 2,5ml Monin Grenadine

• 2 dash Bobs Daiquiri bitters

How to:

Stir the ingredients with ice and strain into a chilled glass. Here served in the Bespoke Martini.
